I have a very entertaining life. Mind you, it is VERY crazy and is full of surprises. But there are a few things I can count on:
Ian wrestling, sword fighting, and antagonizing Cohen right before bedtime just after I have calmed him down. But, it makes me smile.
Cohen using the toilet and pulling off ONE (some deviation from this habit has occurred) piece of toilet paper and throwing it in the toilet... yes, just like that... there is no "use" involved. This is followed by a flush, then the statement, "Let go of the handle, you can't just hold the handle down," then he closes the lid after he giggles and then sprints because he knows what is coming next... Next comes the chasing down to "wash" the hands, which ends up being hand sanitizer after the screaming has stopped. You would think that a little boy who loves to play in water and wash his hands any other time would enjoy this step.
Ian coming home and teaching Cohen to repeat new words such as, "Nag, nag, nag..." Yes, this is in reference to me... making him decide what he wants to specialize in and to set up his rotations, or to study. Other words have included, but are not limited to "buttocks", "Why so serious, Batman", "Diabetes", etc.
Ian walking in the door and snacking even when dinner is ready AND on the table. This is always followed by, "IAN! Dinner is right here!"
Catching Ian on Cougar Board when he is "studying" and has told me in the last 10 minutes that he "doesn't have time to do that" because he has to study.
Cohen begging for Daddy when I have already put him in bed.
Recent funny quotes:
"What is this, the Greek Olympics?" In reference to Cohen trying to tackle dad with no clothes on.
"Mamma, put her (Aurora) away." In reference to Cohen wanting me to do something with him and without Aurora.
Pictures are coming.
