Well, this is me playing catch up. You are going to get a lot of pictures that may or may not be significant, but that I like. We have been very busy doing everything possible since umm October. For starters, Cohen has been working on his flexibility. As you can see he has mastered this skill.

We have also participated in some pretty fun activities such as this Harvest Hoedown. Cohen did not like riding the horse, but loved the bouncy house. We also dressed up for the occasion, practiced our lassoing (I have no idea if that is spelled right), ate, played some games, and danced.




For Halloween Cohen and I took a trip to Utah to visit YaYa and Papa. We had a great time and carved a lot of pumpkins. We also enjoyed time with my little sister, Elizabeth, Tim, Amanda, and the rest of the Riter clan. It was a much needed vacation.

The mullet, may it rest in peace, finally left us. Cohen had his first haircut while we were there.

Dad and son are very much alike, and Cohen is always trying to fill his shoes.

Plus, we have had some very random but great entertaining moments courtesy of our little comedian.

As a family we took a trip to Seattle to visit my parents over Thanksgiving. Ian had never been to my parents home without nearly 30 other people there at the same time. So this was a special treat for us. We also took a trip to Utah for Christmas as Ian hadn't seen his family in a year. For these outings you get no pictures not because I don't like you, but because our camera broke. You do get to see more pictures of other things because thanks to the Riters, who gave a a camera, we are back in business.
For Family Night a little over a month ago we went bowling and then to dinner. Up with the bumpers and let Cohen loose. He would push the ball and it would roll VERY SLOWLY down the lane. Unbelievable he scored a 79 his first time bowling. Way to go big guy!

Of course there has been some down time where these two love to lounge together.
